Electric motors account for more than half of all electricity consumption in the U.S. manufacturing sector.

In our day-to-day lives, we depend on motors for everything from hand tools to cooling fans. How much do you know about the motors you use? This webinar sheds light on the difference between:

  • TEFC and ODP motors
  • AC and DC motors
  • Locked rotor current and rated amperage draw
  • DC motors with and without brushes

You’ll soon be able to read and understand motor nameplates like a pro! Learn why electronically commutated motors (ECM) are an energy-saving alternative to permanent split capacitor (PSC) motors and how federal motor efficiency regulations have evolved over the years.
