You can take control of rooftop HVAC at an affordable cost.

Advanced rooftop controls can help schools and non-profit businesses improve air quality, save energy and increase occupant performance. APS has an Advanced Rooftop Controls (ARC) incentive program to make rooftop HVAC upgrades even more cost effective.

This webinar will start with an overview of the technologies involved with the ARC program:
  • Variable-speed drive motor control
    • Electronically commutated motors (ECM) for DC motors
    • Variable-speed drives for AC motors
  • Demand-controlled ventilation (CO2)
    • Ventilation rate approach
    • Indoor air quality (IAQ) approach
  • Outside air economizers
    • Dry bulb control (temperature only)
    • Enthalpy control (temperature + humidity)
  • HVAC energy management controls
    • Smart thermostats
    • IoT platforms
    • IP-enabled controllers

ARC program eligibility requirements, program specifications, application instructions and the rebate worksheet will be reviewed. Other incentives available for K-12 and non-profit businesses will also be introduced.
